I'm very sorry to advise you all that Paul Green passed away on Wednesday night.
As many of you know, Paul was a great friend and supporter of Mount Cricket ever since his time as headmaster of Alleyn Court School. We will all remember his long and brave fight against cancer and send sincere best wishes and sympathy to all the family, especially, Richard, Suzie, Ged and all the grandchildren.
The funeral is on Thursday 8th August at 2.00pm, at St Augustines Church in Thorpe Bay.
Dear players, members, supporters and friends of Mount.
As you will all have noticed the annual President's match is on Sunday 21st July. Please do come and join us for what we hope will be a great day of celebration for Mount Cricket.
The cricket starts at 12.00 with lunch at 1.30 and tea will be at about 4.00.
The club will be providing teas and Neville is organising the usual barbeque after the game. Please remember to bring your own lunch if you are coming early.
Could players please e-mail Richard, Neville or Simon by the end of this week to confirm your availabilities. As ever, we are hoping to accommodate as many players as possible - please do make yourself available if at all possible as without enough players it won't be much of a day!
Please do feel free to invite fathers, sons and friends to play and invite all the family to come to the game.
The captain and president very much look forward to seeing you on the 21st.
